Beetle and Wedge, 10 April 2010

Dear Sarah,

We were indeed very lucky with the weather and I am sure  the guests and us will never forget such an enjoyable event!

When I entered the restaurant  I was overwhelmed by its  decor enhanced by the beautiful chair covers and green ribbons.  I thought I was stepping into a magic room, as in a dream. It was a very emotional instant! The chairs covered in white with  light green sashes, and lilies on the tall vases on the round tables...

Yes, all went extremely well thank you.....such a fabulous venue and the chair covers really improved the 'look' of the room. Did your mother manage to get a photo? If not I do have one - albeit with people sitting on the chairs! Please thank her for stopping off and collecting them! In fact I did realise afterwards that I hadn't gone round to check that they were all OK at the end!

Thanks very much! It all went fine, despite the weather! Typical England I suppose.  We did manage to miss our flights the next morning however as for some reason our alarm didn't go off - our first challenge as a married couple! Cost a bit more than we anticipated but we got here in the end!
 
Yes we were very happy with the covers thanks - they really made the room.  And you guys were excellent - particularly because you were so flexible about times to deliver and collect.  If you want a quote if you do any testimonials then happy to provide one!  Stefan even phoned me on the Friday night when he had been to see the hall all fully done and admitted that the covers looked amazing and apologised for moaning about letting me get them ;) 
 
Hope you're well and that the extra couple of covers got returned.  If they're too stained or you need to take some of the deposit then just let me know.

Hi Sarah

Sorry for not replying sooner, it's just that Borneo has been keeping us incredibly busy!

We were extremely pleased with the quality of chair covers and sashes that you provided.  We were also very grateful for the extra ones around the cake/present table, they looked fantastic, so thank you very much.  All that deliberation over the sash colour many months ago was certainly worthwhile, as we were very pleased with the overall look of the dining room and the champagne sashes worked perfectly at Fallowfields.

I look forward to receiving the damage deposit in the post in due course and it is nice to know that our friends and family are so well behaved!!....well at least sometimes anyway?!

Dear Sarah,
 
I have just arrived home, through the cloud/fog to a very wet Devon.
 
Thank you for your email - yes the day couldn't have been better and just seemed to fly by. All the photos show Celia grinning from ear to ear. I hope you will put up with me replying as Celia will not be back in the UK until Friday week and is then attending a wedding that weekend!!
 
The chair covers and sashes were beautiful and the service you provided was faultless as far as we were concerned. Obviously Fallowfields were happy as they suggested we contact you. I apologise for breaking into your long weekend away when I first contacted you but I'm very glad that your covers were available for our date as they were much nicer than the stretchy ones.
 
I'm glad there were no damages. Perhaps you would send me the cheque returning the deposit as Celia will be busy moving once she returns to earth!!

Thank you for your e-mail. Yes, we had a wonderful day despite the weather and guests not turning up. The photos are amazing with all the snow and such.
